Truthiness, have some.

I would not be lying when I say that this is a completely accurate description of Houston in the summer. Please, now, hold on, everyone, the line to come for a visit starts to the left of me.

No more feeling jealous about your real estate prices. It was actually in the 60s two nights ago. I love the midatlantic coast.

There's a definite trade-off. Although Austin is in the hill country so it's slightly better weather-wise.

Seriously, the 60s? JEALOUS. When we spent a week on the Oregon coast a few summers ago, it was in the 50s almost the entire time. I was wearing a fucking HOODIE in August. It was great.

Shoot, I'd visit you because central valley California is pretty much in the same Hellish state. (Ahaha, cats panting, oh man.) I am seeing mirages down my street. :(

I will be thinking cool thoughts for you though!

Yeah, whenever Beau has been out to long, he comes in, collapses on the kitchen floor, and pants. Poor baby kitty. He loves being outside but the heat is just too much. He, Boo, and the dogs are going to be living it up come fall/winter. We're never going to see them.

How do you keep your brain from melting a squooshing out your ears? It is 28C here today. And I want to die. And we are on the river. And there's a breeze. So, uhm, you know.

It actually gets hotter in Dallas. It's more common for them to get well into the 110+. I was born to handle it, I guess? Although the humidity of Houston is something I will never get used to. I can't wait until I'm in Austin and livin' the hill country life.
