Life Unexpected, yo.

I'm going to need some Cate/Baze, like, STAT. I mean, I love Ryan (who knew Kerr could act? Better yet, who knew I could forgive him his oh-so-asshattedness during Dawson's Creek simply because he is so lovely as Ryan? Yeah, I don't know either, folks.), but there is just something to be said for a couple of idiots who still haven't recovered from that thing that happened that one time in high school. ALSO I LOVE THE TROPE. It's why I adored the Chris/Lorelai dynamic so much and was more than slightly happy (and eventually disappointed) that they explored their coupling in the final season of Gilmore girls. Hell, I wrote a FIC for chrissakes, putting Rory in a similar situation I love it so much.

...ANYWAY, that outline for chapter two isn't going to do itself. UNFORTUNATELY. Professor Foley, if I haven't said so already (and I haven't because I only want to take this fucknut of a course once), I really loathe your teaching style.

I'm totally into Life Unexpected and Cate/Baze too, for all the reasons you mentioned! I haven't seen this week's episode yet, but I found the pilot utterly charming and can't wait to see where the show goes.

Duuude, have you watched ep 2 yet? The scene between Baze and Cate out in front of her house (hell, the one including Lux, too) just totally sold me on those two crazy kids.

Also, also, also, I read this interview with Kris Polaha (conducted by one of our no less, [livejournal.com profile] halfway2home) wherein he discusses Baze in hs and Baze now and how it all goes back to how he handled Cate's pregnancy. Needless to say, it made me love Kris and Baze all that much more.

Yeah, I've been feeling a strong urge to reread Hito's Westering Home.

...And of course Kerr would still be his little, pathetic homophobe ass. I mean the guy married a chick who looks like a cross between a Barbie and a blow-up doll (no offense, you may be sweet as pie and brilliance may shine out of your ass, Kerr's wife, but your chosen lifemate would suggest otherwise). The dude needs to give it the fuck up already. Suddenly I'm appreciating Michelle Williams' acting all the more - I doubt it was easy to feel the warm and fuzzies for this asshat.

I kind of love Cate/Ryan, not that I don't like Cate/Baze. It's just so obvious the show is going there, I want to enjoy Cate/Ryan while I can.
