Scott Westerfeld has a blog?! How did I not know this? (Oh, hey, fox1013, I'm finally reading his Midnighters trilogy and holycrapwowsoawesome! I'm loving every minute of it. I think I might actually like this series more than the Uglies trio, and I ADORED the end of Specials like burning.)

Annnyway, to those who don't read him, this is a whole big mess of WTF?! for y'all, but seriously, if you want some kick-ass YA-SciFi, look no further than Mr. Westerfeld.

I've looked at Uglies several times and never picked it up, maybe because with the exception of Kenneth Oppel, I'm biased against male YA writers. But Midnighters sounds right up my alley.

I've plowed right through the Midnighters trilogy. The only thing that forces me to put them down is work and sleep.
