IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE WHAT WOULD THE SONGS BE?
So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
Opening Credits:
Thirteen - Big Star
Waking Up:
Let Go - Frou Frou
First Day At School:
I Don't Trust Myself (With Loving You) - John Mayer
Falling In Love:
Blood on the Ground - Incubus (Hee! Yeah. That sounds about right.)
Fight Song:
Turn Off the Light - Nelly Furtado
Breaking Up:
I'm Afraid of Americans - David Bowie
Prom:
Lucky Star - Madonna (If this isn't the most appropriate ever, I don't know what is.)
Life's OK:
Ain't Talkin' - Bob Dylan
Mental Breakdown:
Everyday Is a Holiday (With You) - Esthero (Oh the mental image this is giving me: I'm standing in the midst of a wrecked room, this light fluffy, just-falling-in-love song blasting. And it is just so perfect.)
Driving:
Vogue - Madonna (Because nothing makes for a good drive than doing the vogue at stop lights, or on the road. It lends a certain challenge to staying in your lane. Like competitive driving! Only 50% less Nascar!)
Flashback:
Do What You Want - Ok Go
Get back together:
Prison on Route 41 - Iron & Wine
Wedding:
Passing By - Zero 7
Birth of Child:
A Day in the Life - The Beatles (Yes, because a song about a famous dude in England committing suicide in his car is the perfect accompaniment to the birthing of a child.)
Final Battle:
Laura - Scissor Sisters (Can you imagine the groove you could find? That would be one kick ass, motherfuckin' take-no-prisoners fight. To the DEATH!)
Death Scene:
Under the Weather - KT Tunstall (The ultimate "under the weather", I'll say.)
Funeral Song:
Jump - Madonna
