Dec. 31st, 2006 12:32 amJust got back from a showing of Deja Vu. It was decent but nothing to write home about. I went mainly for the supporting cast (Val Kilmer, Elden Henson, and Adam Goldberg), but even they were a letdown (or rather, their parts). Fortunately the trailers were pretty damn cool and my hot dog was delicious (seriously, the hot dog? PERFECT. And I nailed the mustard to ketchup ratio.) so it wasn't a total loss.
As for the trailers, the first was Zodiac, the one with Robert Downey, Jr., Jake Gyllenhaal, and Mark Ruffalo, and it looks AWESOME. Then there was The Invisible. From what I can gather from imdb.com, The Invisible is based on a Danish film, which sounds amazing. I hope they keep it true to the source material, but there's no telling. We are talking about Hollywood.
