The thing I don't understand about Mr. Bennet is what his intentions for Claire are. I kind of think he does love her--I mean, he raised her, right?--but then there's also the creeptastitude of his entire being. If he wants to turn her into something evil, or study her, or use her powers for his own purposes, I can see him keeping her close and loving. But I want to believe the love comes from a place outside her powers, you know?
And Greg Grunberg really IS a mack-daddy. Awesome.
My friend's thought for a long time that Peter's an empath (he knows a lot more about comics and whatnot than I do, so it definitely wasn't my original idea) and tonight I think they played it out well. His powers aren't as strong as anyone else (he can't fly as well as Peter and he can't paint the future as well as Isaac) but to be able to sample from all those different powers? Excellent.
And Hiro is and always will be my favorite. (Well, I like Peter a lot too.) I really, really liked FutureHiro, and I think I'm going to enjoy seeing how this all plays out. Well done, NBC.
