As Fast As She Can by [livejournal.com profile] torigates
["I know that you’re tired of waiting, and you may have to wait a little more, but she’s on her way, Ted. And she’s getting here as fast as she can." Character: The Mother; spoilers: The Leap; rating: PG-13; word count: 1,214.]

Okay, if you've been living under a rock and have not seen the season finale for HIMYM, then don't read this just yet. After you HAVE, come back and read this little piece of magnificence.

If you have, OH EM GEE, you guys! Like, I need a new word for my reaction to this baby: crflailap (cry-flail-clap for those not me). It's just so awesome and honest and true, and I maybe over-identify with The Mother to a ridiculous degree, what with my feeling I am awesome, that I do not require a boy to complete my awesomeness (although one who could accentuate my awesomeness would not be a bad thing - JUST SAYING), and doing the whole going back to school thing. SO YEAH.

Yes, ma'am. God, I love that POV. I really want to try it again, but it's not a POV I can manage for anything lengthy.

BTW, the JoBros hosted the MMVA's in Toronto last nite. Quite a fun show. You may be able to catch it online.

I've seen some of the pics. The boys ARE adorable, so it does stand to reason they'd put on a decent show. They just don't have any issue with making complete doofuses of themselves (see JONAS), which I can appreciate. I plan to reward myself for sitting through Professor Kaufmann's lecture tonight and her unnecessary need to put an emphasis on the T in EVERY WORD with clips on [livejournal.com profile] callusfreaks.

Minor yet hi-larious Perez Hilton scandal. He was a presenter, and got roughed up by someone in the BEP entourage. So he called the cops. And when the cops didn't show up quickly enough - 'cause God knows they have nothing better to do on a weekend - he went on fucking Twitter and told all his fucking idiot Twitter followers to call the cops for him. So all his idiot fans called the police. There's a pathetic video on his site about it.

Have you seen the latest shenanigans? His video response to Wil.I.Am's video? Wherein he used FAG and FAGGOT like they were going out of style? God, like I needed more reason to loathe the very air this man breathed. Seriously, I wish there really were those gangs of lesbians dressed all in pink roaming the streets, roughing people up. If only, BillO. I'd direct them Mario's way.

Stupid fucker.
