Ms. Magazine Names Women Who Had Abortions

My jaw is on the fucking floor as I type this. Now, don't get me wrong, I think they have every right to do this (their bodies, their choice), and I really agree with the reasoning behind it. (I WILL be buying this issue.) And while I commend them for their bravery and strength, I have to admit that I'm more than a little afraid for their safety.

More than anything though, it is times like these that make me so proud to be a woman.

Yeah, it's all fun and games until you find yourself stuck with an unwanted pregnancy. You know what would thrill me even more? If it came out Grandma was the one who took them since old Babs is pro-choice.

That would amuse me so very much.

Heh. Did I tell you that they built a new elementary school right around the corner from me and named it Laura Welch Bush Elementary School? Yeah, how'd that happen?

Reading the message board for that article made me want to scream. So much viciousness about how they think all women who have an abortion are being selfish, using it as a convenience, that the only choice women have is not to open their legs in the first place. I do not understand people.

I am so glad that I didn't even notice the message board. After my little stint over at abortiondebate where this total fucktard took stupidity to whole new levels, I've come to the realization there are some things I can debate. Abortion rights are not one of them.

Oh, I got your note. It's lovely isn't it? They're so invested in their hatred of KH that I'm left more than a little puzzled. I think it's only rivaled by the McDreamy/Meh brigade.
