Just finished The Nine. I wasn't blown away, but it was a solid series premiere. It definitely set up some interesting threads, not the least of which is what happened to Felicia in there. From the way Malcolm had her blocked like that, completely zoned out beyond keeping her safe, to the fact that she completely blanked out the 55 hours they were stuck in the bank.

Then you have the whole thing with Jeremy that no one is talking about save for these really oblique comments. On top of that the wake sex with Franny, which was so uncomfortable to watch I actually turned away from the screen.

I'll be back next week, but I'm not completely sold just yet.

On a related note, Scott Wolf called into 96.5 this morning to have a chat with Sam and Michelle, and he was really a fantastic interview. Funny, intelligent, and passionate about the show. If anything, I'm going on that faith because I've always loved ol' Scotty.

Yes, I'm all about organic storytelling.

but that it wasn't so obscure and hidden that I got pissed off.
Is that a little Lost-related bitterness, I hear? Because I so get that. I finally had to give that shit up a third of the way into season two. When I'm more pissed off than excited - well, it's time to move on because TV is supposed to be enjoyable.

And Tim Daly didn't irritate me at all, which I'm surprised about.
Aw, I heart the Daly. I was über-pissed with ABC's decision to nix Eyes so I'm happy to have him back on another TV show.
