This has been gone round the flist a couple of times, but I'll say I stole it from allthingsholy because she's the last one to do it.

I tried, really I did, at the beginning of the season, to get into Invasion, but it moved forward with all the momentum of a glacier. Even the allure of Kira's unrequited crush on Jesse couldn't keep me around. Then it started getting interesting, and I was forced to tune in. Fuckin' ABC. One more show to add to the growing list of ones killed too soon by those bastards. That however is a rant for another day.

This is obviously behind the scenes, and I love it because I think working on Firefly and Serenity was quite fun. All those talented, hot, extremely funny people converging in one place can never be a bad thing.

Ha, a friend and I also do the No no no, yes yes yes thing in the voices, with the slo-mo. And we usually follow it up with:

As previously mentioned, the drinks were martinis. Better than last time, when it was beer, which I really don't care for.

Also, in Ryan Gosling news, I almost walked into him in a restaurant in Los Feliz once and to this day I regret not tackling him and taking him home with me.

The lessons are cinematic GOLD. Sigh. I'm going to have to watch it this weekend while I clean house. I'm glad we finally found it on DVD.

Was he as pretty in person? I remember this story I read about him when he and Rachel McAdams first started dating. They were at this restaurant in Memphis, and while they waited for their table, they danced in the lobby. See, it's cute and all that they danced in the middle of the street as their characters in The Notebook. That? Eh, I vacillate between it being really odd (and uncomfortable for the other patrons) and sweetly romantic.

God, it suddenly occurs to me that I sound like Carrie when the Russian is courting her old-world style. Meh. Anyway.

Man, you go to a restaurant and run into Ryan Gosling. I go to a restaurant and I run into Rachel from Real World Austin. Yeah. I so win at life.
