Yeah, I kind of hate her for being so beautiful, but at the same time, I sat down and read the article as soon as I saw "The Office' at the top of my EW and she always wins me over with how funny and adorable and smart she is. Damn you.
Don't you just hate it when that happens? It's like you're already ridiculously gorgeous, why do have you have to be smart and klutzy and funny, too?! Not FAIR.
Remember on Sex and the City when Big got married? ...and everyone HATED her despite the fact that she didn't know about Carrie and didn't do anything wrong? That is what Karen did when she stepped between my Jimmy and Pammy!!!
Memo to Karen: It's really nothing personal. You are seriously hard to hate, with your quirky adorable-ness. However, I am strongly against your dating Jim. Have you met Toby? I hear he's really nice and single.
Hahahaha. Oh, Kim. You sound exactly like I did at the start of the season.
But then the writers/actors did the unthinkable: they made Karen likeable. *BOO*GASP*HISS* Plus, on paper, she's a good match for Jim. (Also? I sort of see her as the fictional extension of us fangirls. We appreciate Jim's Jim-ness and his goofy handsomeness, but we will never have Jim. He is solely Pam's.)
See, The Office fans don't realize how good they have it. To have three well-developed characters participating in a triangle where no one is demonized but simply human? Dude. That is not the norm, and I love the writers for putting in the time and energy into making this believable with compelling characters.
