Apparently some douche who will never, ever get laid wrote an op-ed piece he likes to call "satire" regarding rape and how VERY AWESOME rape is for his school newspaper. Strangely enough, people didn't find it funny. Cue the much-deserved backlash against the asshat and the editors of the school newspaper and the resulting wank!

I read the discussion on Feministe and some other places too, and this hateful clown got what he deserved when the backlash happened. But the newpaper editors etc. satff need to be brought into the conversation. Why such a "article" even made it's way to print?

Oh, yes. That needs to be discussed. I'll be surprised if the editors don't get their asses handed to them, and as much as this has blown up, I think they will.

What I don't understand is how his previous little misogynistic missives made it to print. He just kept pushing and pushing and no one stopped him so he finally produced that giant turd of idiocy, thinking things would remain at the status quo. Only now he's getting recognition on a national scale and it isn't for his writing prowess, either.
