1. Why do you dislike #11 so much?
What exactly is to like? I never fully understood why Marissa found it so impossible to be happy, and she dragged everyone around her, especially Ryan, down with her. Sure, Julie wasn’t the best mom in the world and Jimmy abandoned her for Hawaii and sailing, but fuck it. JUST BE HAPPY.
And with all of Ryan’s problems, the last thing he needed was Marissa's martyr act.
2. Who is someone you know that ships #13?
iridescentglow is the first to come to mind. She’s writing JustinRebecca!
3. What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3?
Well, I would love for them to have a happily ever after, but ultimately, I see them as transition lovers. They grew up together – it was Rory’s most mature relationship and Logan’s first – which sometimes does not translate to long-term survival. All that being said, I’d love to imagine them breaking up and meeting up sometime down the road and realizing it’s all still there.
4. Which is your favorite episode for #1? Try to pick just one.
Oh, wow. My first instinct is to say "Casino Night", but then there were so many amazing moments in season two. Maybe "Boys and Girls" simply because Jim called Pam out. It wasn’t their first fight or awkward moment, but Jim sold me why he is the one for Pam. He encouraged her without hesitation, and when she totally waffled after her talk with Roy, he called her on it. Yeah, he should have also said it to himself, too, and I think that was one of the things that led to the kiss in CN, but he pushed her to expect more, not only of Roy but of herself. Pam needed that. It’s a shame Jim seems to be in stasis this season, since the end of CN seemed to be like he was finally waking up.
5. How long have you been following couple #6?
I don’t know when it kicked in – perhaps towards the end of the first season? – but yeah, I see them as the endgame for the show.
6. What's the story with #8? What made you stop liking them/caring?
Honestly? The Lit shippers. Also, ASP’s inability to let a character the fuck go. Jess's yearly returns to the show became such an irritant because it was mostly stunt. There was never any forward motion, nothing resulted from him popping back into Stars Hollow. I think Jess showing up last season would have been a thousand times more resonant had he not been back three or four times before that.
7. Which ship do you prefer - #2 or #4?
4. It’s Joe and Allison! They are awesome. They fight, they love each other, and they one of the best families on television.
8. You have the power to make one ship non-existent. Choose from #10 or #12.
Oh, 10. No question. Aside from the fact that I think Veronica has turned into a unlikable shrew this season (although it started back in season two), Chris and Kristen barely register on screen together let alone create anything resembling sexual chemistry. Also? Piz is fucking clueless.
9. What interests you about #14?
Dude. The endless possibilities. Also, the AWESOMENESS of it all. It’s Barney, it’s Robin.
10. When did you stop liking #7?
Probably around the time they finally got together. I never really bought into Lorelai and Luke = OTP 4EVA, but then ASP skimmed through it. One minute Luke’s admitting he’s “all in” and the next, they’re waking up together. I need some payoff after all this buildup. Jeez.
11. Did your waning interest in #9 kill your interest in the show?
Nope. Rob Thomas managed that all on his own with his little treatises on feminism and rape. Really, he should give classes. Except not. Because I greatly hope for the day he is unemployed.
12. What's a song that reminds you of #5?
"The Pageant of the Bizarre" by Zero 7. And not just because it played during their first (fake) kiss, either. It’s like Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker had Taylor and Ryan in mind when they wrote it.

Probably Jim and Pam just because they break my heart and make me want to kick things and yet I’m still rooting for them. I still want them to have their happily ever after.

Veronica and Piz. *shudder*
15. If you could have any of these two pairings double date, who would it be? (Even better if they're from different shows.)
Ryan and Taylor and Bones and Booth. OMFG. Can you imagine? Taylor going on and on, and she’d probably be a wealth of knowledge on bones and forensics because she totally researched it prior to the double date. Taylor would be the only conversation going on at that table.
16. Have #2 kissed yet? Elaborate if you'd like.
Heh. No.
17. Did #4 have a happy ending? Do you think a happy ending is likely?
They’re living it, no matter the problems that pop up on what seems like a nearly daily basis. They make it work.
18. What would make you start shipping #14?
Someone mentioned it somewhere at some point and it's been sitting in the back of my brain, like a tiny, itty bitty seed. Of course, I'm borderline shipping already, so yeah.
19. If only one could happen, which would you prefer - #2 or #6?
Since I don’t see 2 ever happening in canon – the pity – I’ll go with 6. I think it’s verging on canon as we speak.
20. You have the power to decide the fate of #10. What happens to them?
They ride off into the sunset, and blinded by the sun, take a long fall off a very short cliff. *sighs happily* Yep, that'll do.

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm spoiled like whoa. At first I was like, "Nooooo!" But then the more I think about it, considering Rory's off to Iowa and Logan's off to San Fran, well, it's the only logical conclusion. Plus, Rory is only 22. I can't even imagine being that young and getting married.
