I found Heroes to be all around awesome last night, but as per usual, [livejournal.com profile] latxcvi manages to sum up my thoughts far more eloquently and with far more articulation than I could even hope for. I was a pathetic, weeping mess by the end of it, and I am eagerly anticipating next season. Aside from a few random shallow comments which are The match up between Sylar and Peter was momentarily ruined when I noticed how clearly staged it was so as not to draw attention to the fact that it was ZACHARY QUINTO, MISTER 6’4, vs. wee little milo ventimiglia, mister 5’9. I laughed out loud. Milo is such a wee man, both in stature and build. And Hiro’s completely serious, “Yatta.” which I loved like whoa, followed by that look with the caption “@&#*!” when he found himself in Japan circa 1671.

Oh, and the planned spin-off Heroes: Origins, too.

Between Heroes, Sunday's Brothers & Sisters, and last Thursday's The Office, I am permanently in a state of verklempt. It isn't wholly unpleasing, as I've loved and enjoyed each and every finale. It's been a great season of TV.

This post, re: FanLib, by [livejournal.com profile] icarusancalion seems to be popping up in posts all over the flist. It's pretty fantastic. Plus there's some wank to be had over at Fandom Wank, too, with regards to the whole FanLib mess. (For the record, I'm in the camp that everything to do with that site is bad and no good can come of it.)

Finally, [livejournal.com profile] inlovewithnight, is this the wank in Buffy fandom you were referring to earlier?

Yep, that's the one. Should've known f_w wouldn't let me down. Heh.

Oh, yeah. Always reliable, both in the recording of it and the bringing of the funny commentary. Even when it's something that makes my blood boil and/or sickens me, the regular posters over there manage to make me laugh every time.

And Hiro’s completely serious, “Yatta.”

You reminded me of something else I loved about HTSAEM, which was this moment. I loved it that Masi Oka tapped into a little future!Hiro to deliver that "Yatta." It was completely serious and carried with it Hiro's understanding of the gravity of what he'd just done.

Oh, show. ::happysigh::

That is exactly why the few random things I quibble over are sort of forgotten when I think in terms of the series as a whole. The actors manage to take these little moments, sometimes with dialogue that could come off so cartoonish, and they make it work.

Oh, show. ::happysigh::
DUDE. My sentiments exactly.
