I wish I could do like they do in that commercial, take off this thing that I like to call head-formerly-known-as-mine, so that when this shit finally goes all sorts of explodey, at least part of me will survive. Yeah, I don't know. I blame the headache.

Exactly. He informed a great deal of my writing, as did Eugenides and Tartt, but he was the first to really open my eyes to description in its best form.
I still need to read The Dead Zone, but I loved the movie.
